The Food Assistant will be responsible for the preparation of simple good food and for ensuring brilliant experience for customers of The Burger Buff at Centra.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- One or more years’ experience working in a restaurant or fast food environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask under pressure
- A passion for food
- Previous customer service experience is an advantage
- HACCP training is an advantage but not necessary
Main duties:
- Actively live the company values i.e. Proud, Energetic, Imaginative and Community-Based
- Deliver a high standard of customer service
- Prepare food for customers
- Ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times throughout the day
- Demonstrate your knowledge of the menu/offer by making personal recommendations to customers
- Deal with all customer queries efficiently, professionally and in line with store policy
